As a Software Developer at MapTransit, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining software solutions that power our AI-driven geospatial projects. You will work closely with data scientists, geospatial analysts, and other developers to create innovative tools and applications that process and visualize large datasets. Your work will contribute to the success of projects like GlobeRender, enhancing our ability to provide accurate and detailed 3D simulations of Earth. Design, develop, and maintain software applications for geospatial data processing and visualization.
Implement AI models for 3D mapping and simulation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions into larger systems.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in geospatial analytics and AI.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on geospatial or AI applications.

Knowledge of geospatial data formats and libraries (e.g., GDAL, GeoPandas).
Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering technologies.
